Q.low maintenance plants to show color in all season
we live in the 30512 zipcode….we live in Blairsville, GA….we want to plant some low maintenance plants to the front of our house that shows colors at all seasons..I love bulbs like daylilies and plants like that…but we don’t want anything that has to be pruned…we are in our 60s and don’t have the energy to prune plants…also there are tons of rocks in our yard and it’s hard to dig the red clay….we have a one level house where the front porch looks out onto the lawn with storage underneath the front porch…we have a lot of shade in the front yard where we want to plant these plants because of the oak trees and pine trees…there are so many beautiful plants to choose from….so I am sort of confused as to what to plant to show colors in the flower beds all season….our house is gray…any suggestions you can make would be wonderful..thanks so very much for your house..pam winter blairsville ga 30512..i am open to all plant suggestions..

Visit local garden centers for some plant ideas; they often have test gardens were you can see plants in a mature setting.
