Q.Looking For Dwarf Pine For Near Pond

Zone 55317 | Anonymous added on February 13, 2022 | Answered

Hi there – I’ve been in search of a dwarf pine or similar that would give my pond area a more Northwoods aesthetic. Unfortunately I’m not finding much that would only grow to be 3-5 ft, grow in moist soil conditions, and fair well in a hardiness zone of 4. Any suggestions??

Here are some options below. Also consider dwarf mugo pine, Blue Diamond spruce, dwarf Alberta spruce, Norway spruce (Picea abies species), and dwarf bald cypress.
