Q.Linden Tree Did Not Leaf By The End Of June
Our Linden tree bought 2 years leafed last year but did not flower. This year its now June 26 it didn’t leaf out but have a couple of leaves here and there on the lower part of the trunk. Is it dead? Can we save it? If we cut the top part would it leaf out as a bush? If so when should we cut it down?

If the growth is on the lower part of the trunk and the tree was grafted, it is from the rootstalk of the graft and undesirable. These articles may help you figure out what happened. To see if it is still alive, give it the scratch test.
