Limes Turning Yellow

We have a lime tree but all the limes are turning yellow and falling off. The leaves are green and healthy. Why would this happen?

They are falling off because they are over ripe. Limes are harvested unripe (that is why they are green) but turn yellow when ripe. Here is more information:
