Q.Lime Tree Pruning

Anonymous added on September 6, 2011 | Answered

My 5 year old Persian Lime had a great year with over 500 pieces of beautiful fruit. However, several branches have split from the weight of the fruit. After the harvest is over, can I safely prune the tree? How to proceed? Just the split branches or trim the entire tree? It is about 9 feet tall and 8 feet wide.
