When do I plant a lime tree in Canberra and what type would grow best?

Lime trees need to be grown only when it is warm outdoors. If growing them in pots indoors, put them out in late spring/summer but bring them inside before cold weather hits. Outdoor plants require winter protection. Tahiti lime and key lime are quite popular.
