Q.Lillies

Zone Covingham swindon uk | Julie Moore added on June 8, 2018 | Answered

My lillies have developed a horrible green slime, which is on both leaves and stems. Lillies grown in pot.

I have noticed green blobs, in clusters on the leaves. This fungus is wet. I can see little bugs which are red in colour and bigger than a ladybird.

Please advise on how to treat and destroy the foliage ?

Look forward to receiving your response shortly.

It is usually best to burn the infected foliage to avoid further contamination. You will also want to treat the soil and plant. This can be done, simply, with cinnamon! This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/using-cinnamon-on-plants.htm
