Q.lemon tree

Zone Atlanta,Ga | susparisp added on November 18, 2017 | Answered

My lemon tree (in a large pot & about 3 years old) has 8 lemons and all are still green. The tree now has blooms which I assume will be next years lemons. Should I pick the lemons to encourage more blooms? I picked one and it was really good and the skin smooth and had a great scent. Or should I leave the lemons and pick them as needed?

You can pick them as they ripen. Here is an article for more information:https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/lemons/harvesting-lemons.htm
