Q.Leaves Turning Brown

My palm leaves are dying slowly. They get brown and dry at the tips and gradually it spreads tot the whole leaf until I have to cut them off. Is this a watering problem, or is there some nutrient they are missing? Thanks.

Brown tips can indicate a low humidity problem and/or not enough water. Too much fertilizer can be a culprit as are pests. These articles should help:
