Q.lavender pruning

Anonymous added on September 4, 2015 | Answered

I have never pruned my lavender, which I planted around 4 years ago. They are lovely but woody at the bottom. Is there a way I can deal with the problem now? Do I still cut one third away now? Thanks.

Yes, you can still cut it back by a third, especially if it's overgrown. This article should help as well: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/lavender/pruning-lavender.htm
