Christmas Cactus Plants

Q.Large, christmas cactus – do not know specific name

Was give this cactus as a gift. Unfortunately, it was outside when the frost hit. Am attempting to save it. Not all was frozen. What can I do to save as much as I can?

Christmas Cactus come in many different color varieties from traditional red to purple, pink, orange, gold and white.
In each of these color groups there are dozens of common cultivators.

I would trim away any obvious dead material from the plant.
Continue to care for the plant and wait and see.
