Lantern flowers

I brought stems of the lantern flowers inside but they are still green. Will they turn red as they dry?

Sometimes this can depend on the cultivar of lantern. Some do not turn, and some turn fully. Let it dry and you may end up with some color, but don't be disappointed if they don't turn.
