Is it normal to have to prune these roses every week?

Hi Wayne and thanks for the question. That depends on if you are pruning them to keep them shaped a certain way or not. Sometimes they can really grow big and bigger than folks thought they might get for a certain area, so shaping pruning is needed. If you are pruning them to deadhead them, you don't really have to as they will continue to bloom without doing any deadheading at all. They might even bloom better if you don't.
