Kaffir Lime Tree Leaves Turning White

Question

Got the kaffir lime tree for my birthday a few weeks ago and followed instructions for getting it used to outdoors. The leaves are starting to turn a mottled white colour. What’s happening to my tree?

It's reacting to the change in light. Move it back to a partly shady location such as under a tree for a few days.
