Q.Jade plants

Zone Shobonier, IL 6B | Cydney Kay Ball added on October 28, 2017 | Answered

I have an old Jade plant that is well over 100 years old. It has flowers on it now, but I need to repot it. I am wondering what the best soil is to keep it happy. I also would like to know the best pot use. Any information you have will be appreciated. I do not want my Jade to die!! My boss gave me a small start about 15 years ago, and it has grown to a beautiful plant.

Thank You.

Sometimes it is best to leave plants such as this in its pot. Jade are among those types of plants that prefer to be root-bound. If the plant looks happy, I would not risk repotting it.
