Q.Jacaranda Tree Losing Leaves
jacaranda tree is just over a year old. We mostly kept it indoors over the winter as we are based in the UK. Putting it out for sun light when available and a little rain here and there. It started to smell a strong odor so we put it out side and now it’s leaves are turning brown and dropping off just at the turn of spring. It still has fresh growth at the top currently but would appreciate some advise as it was a thoughtful gift and we would hate to lose it.

Yellowing leaves is often due to over or underwatering. The soil looks overly wet right in the photo, so that might be what is going on. Also, in one photo it looks like a couple stems have insect pests, but I couldn't zoom enough to tell if it is aphids or scale. Plus, it looks like there is some tunneling on the main stem. Neem oil will help with those problems.
