My leaves are turning yellow on about ten shrubs first I used miracle grow that didn’t work. So I went to a garden center and they said to use palm plant food and magnesium sulphate and we are watering less

I would agree. They can take some time to recover. The miracle grow may have been a little too strong. I tend to recommend dolomitic lime and wettable sulfur instead, though. This will also give calcium to pair with the magnesium, and the wettable sulfur will provide the sulfur. It just covers a little more of the spectrum, and can help condition the soil for long periods of time.
