Q.Ixora which seems to have frozen

Zone 34759 | schwartzapn added on April 2, 2018 | Answered

It got cold here in Florida, and some of my ixora (not in pots) seem to have frozen. They still are shooting up green leaves, but are not full. Should I cut them all the way back, or just leave them to heal on their own?

You can safely prune these back to half. This will help it to recover from the damage. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/ixora/growing-ixora-shrubs.htm
