Ivory Silk Lilac Not Flowering

Question

We have had plant 3 years the first two it hardly had any branches or extra growth but this tear it has alot of growth and fullness but no flowers. What are we doing wrong. We have not trimmed at all

I would be sure to test the soil. This could be due to a lack of phosphorus and potassium, or there could be too much nitrogen in the soil. I would test to find out, then amend as necessary.
