Q.I’ve Had A Purple False Shamrock As A Houseplant For 3 Years, But It’s Never Bloomed. Why?

My apartment gets very little sun, so I have my False Shamrock in the window that gets maybe an hour of morning sun. Is that enough? I’ve had my plant for 3-4 years and it’s never bloomed, let alone grown flower buds. Although I think the plant is pretty without flowers, I’d still like to see it in bloom. Do you have any advice? Thank you!

I would try giving it more light duration. Not, necessarily, more light, but longer light. This can help with flowering, as these plants can flower with little nutrients. They will, also, appreciate a dormancy for part of the year:
