Q.Is there some kind of cover I can use so dirt doesn’t come to my room from garden door?

I rented a room that has a garden door, but below the door it has some kind of cover that is ripped (see picture) I would like to know if there’s anything like a tarpaulin cover or any other material that I can fit to that area to prevent ants and other insects to coming into my room. Thanks
