Q.Is There A Yellow Hibiscus For Zone 8A

Tropical hibiscus are only hardy to zone 9, so if you don't want a container hibiscus treated as an annual or overwintered indoors, you can consider a hardy hibiscus. While we don't recommend specific brands, I did not find an actual yellow cultivar. There is a French Vanilla hybrid, it is more yellow in cooler zones and whitish in warmer weather. There is an 'Old Yella' hybrid hibiscus that is pale yellow but photos look more white. The only other somewhat yellow I found was a 'Brunswick' variety hardy to zone 7a, which is a native mallow.
