Is the plant safe for cats

Hello. Can you please verify a couple of things….are Gerber Daisy’s non-toxic to cats? I’m thinking of putting a potted plant on a table in an enclosed deck room that gets morning light. Is that a good location? Thanks so much!

These articles may help. A gerbera may need more sun than that but for a short time my dad grew one in the low light of a hospital room window and it did fine
