Is it too late to replant herbs outside in Rhode Island?

My wife just bought some herb plants and wants to plant them in a planter outside. We want to know if it’s too late in the year to do so.

No, you can plant them outside anytime you want. When cold weather comes they'll die back, but you'll have them till then.
