Q.is it too late to prune a fig tree?

I have a fig tree that is about 6 feet high. Should I prune it down a little?

Pruning will help your fig tree produce better and tastier figs. The best time to prune a fig tree will be in the dormant (winter) season. You can prune now provided the fig tree shows no signs of new growth.
