Q.Is It Safe To Plant Cabbage Plants In Cold Weather?

Zone Snellville, Ga 30039 | vreese1446 added on November 14, 2022 | Answered

I just bought some beautiful cabbage plants and we had cold weather to move in and will be here for a while. Can I plant now or should I wait for warmer temperatures.

Depending on the type of cabbage, it is either too late, or too early.

Winter cabbage needed to be started in August, where any other cultivar should be started in very early spring.
