Is it possible to grow African Violets in a closed terrarium?

I have a small closed terrarium and I am interested in planting an African Violet. Can an African Violet thrive in a closed terrarium? What are some small plants that would do well in a closed terrarium? Thank you!

I fear that it could become far to humid for them to survive without infection. Succulents are typically used for this application, as they are more resilient, and will be happy in this type of system.
