I have a white iris that is blooming now, in Nov. It did not bloom in the spring, which is when I planted it. Is this a common thing?

Unusually warm weather can cause many plants to bloom out of season. Because it is blooming this late, I would recommend mulching the plants. Because they are blooming now, they may not go into dormancy well enough before the cold weather to withstand the cold. Mulching will give them a little extra time to reach full dormancy.
