Q.Indian hawthorn
I have planted Indian hawthorn in front of the house. It’s been 2 years but no flowers. What should I do so the flower can grow out?
Indian Hawthorn need a full sun location.
Make sure you are not over fertilizing. To much nitrogen will inhibit flowering.
Do not prune, as the buds form on old wood.
You can add an application of phosphorous to try to encourage blooming.
Bone Meal is a great organic source of phosphorous.
