If A Squash Leaf Folds Over Or Breaks How To Protect The Plant?

I have several large squash leaves folding over on top of other leaves. the stems are folded in half.

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. Unless the leaves are dying off, or causing infection, there won't be much to be done.

If they are dying off, or turning brown, then you can cut them off with CLEAN shears.
