Identification of 2 plants

Question

I cannot find anybody who can tell me the name of these plants. The first one grows outside and I haven´t seen flowers on it. The leaves are a stiff, and there is a little hook opposite to each leaf. The length of the branch you see is 125 cm. The second is a houseplant.

The pictures are missing. I will try to find out why….
