I Want To Know How To Get Rid Of This Plant

This plant grows very fast. The roots travel along and more shoots start. The stem is hollow. I believe it may flower. I read that a lady went to Europe and brought back this plant. How can I kill it? Thanks

I thought it might be Japanese knotweed but I don't see any redness on the leaves or the bamboo like stems. Regardless, you can spray it with glyphosate or a brush killer to eradicate it. Be sure to read and follow all instructions.
