I have pine trees around my house. If I scrape the needles off the ground and put them were I’m planting potatoes, will it help the acid in my garden?

Pine needles can acidify soil but only after some time. You can also add coffee grounds to the soil around your plants. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/ingredients/coffee-grounds-gardening.htm
