Q.I want to cut down an apple tree but it has a large bunch of mistletoe growing on it, how can I save it and put on another fruit

tree? Would it have to be an apple tree or would a plum tree be ok?

It is important that, although they are interesting a largely not harmful, when a tree is not getting proper care or is lacking something, then the parasitic plant will steal nutrients from the tree.
