Q.I see different ideas on what kind of light periwinkle ground cover needs. Can you provide definitive answer?
I like to grow periwinkle as a ground cover in a pebble bed about 2 ft wide with a 2 ft retaining wall running about 80 ft long. I like to train the plant to grow up along the wall. I want to use the plant for erosion control.
I get full sun in the area, 8 plus hours.
I like to grow the plant with a large shrub (6 ft plus tall) for privacy if possible. I know periwinkle can probably overrun other plants, so I guess it is a matter of keeping on top of its growth?
