6 hours. Later after they were uncovered and the painting was done the buds on the plants never flowered. Will they bloom next ye ar? What should I do? I live in zone 6

They may have gotten too hot under the plastic. They should be fine. Just keep them watered. You can cut them back after a frost knocks them down.
