I received a Christmas Cactus at Christmas and it was in bloom but quickly lost it flowers. Now it is very busy growing new 'leaves'. What care should I be giving the plant at this stage?

They are pretty easy to care for. Water when the top of the soil is dry to the touch and make sure it is getting good light. It will rebloom for you in late fall or early winter.
