Creeping Phlox Plants

Q.I Planted Creeping Phlox A Few Weeks Ago But It Doesn’t Seem To Be Doing Well. Any Suggestions?

I planted 5 creeping phlox plants in an area that I want some ground cover. It’s planted in full sun, per the instructions, but just seems to be withering, not thriving or growing. I’ve planted some other things around the same area (sedum, lambs ears) and they are doing fine.

I would give it, at least, a month to get established. It should exhibit very little growth, at this time, since it is putting most of its energy into root production.

You may not notice the full effects of vigorous growth until the next year. Still, you should see signs of recovery within the next few weeks, as it finishes the recovery period.
