Since it is only a week planted, I would carefully dig it back up and make sure it is at the same level as it was in the pot. But it looks like you have the bud union above ground, so that is good.

I also would widen the grass free area around it and add 2 to 3 inches of mulch around it. Do not touch the stem with the mulch. Start it an inch or so from the stem.
