will zoysia survive with limited water

Question

I live in the high desert north of Los Angeles where the summer daytime temperatures exceed 100 degrees. I have a well established zoysia lawn. Now that we have sever water restrictions, how well will zoysia survive the summer with limited watering and would it survive without any watering?

Though is is established and is drought tolerant, it will need water to survive.
