Q.I Live In Missouri. I Have An Issue With Non Producing Zucchini

Zone 65202 | dlbrennan19 added on August 1, 2020 | Answered

I have two plants in a 4×8 raised bed. They receive 5 hours of direct sun with 2 additional hours of filtered sun. Both plants produce blooms. Some of those just drop off while others will start to fruit but those have all turned to mush. I don’t see any pests. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. From the sound of it, it could be a calcium or magnesium deficiency. Usually, the emphasis will be on calcium.

A foliar spray will be the quickest solution. Using Dolomitic lime in the soil will help, long term, though. Using both can help now, and stave off future problems.
