Q.Veggies Planted with Hibiscus

Anonymous added on April 5, 2014 | Answered

I just planted 3 hibiscus plants in one of my front flower beds. I also bought a squash, zucchini, cucumber, and tomato plants that I was planning on putting into tires in my backyard. After doing further research, I’m not sure I want to use the tires. Can I put at least 2 of my veggies in the front flower bed with the hibiscus plants? What are the spacing requirements?

Depending on what you decide to put there, like tomatoes for instance, you should try to space them at least 24 inches to provide each plant with ample sunshine and good air circulation.
