Q.I Have White Mites On My Sago Palm. Same As Hibiscus Mites . How Do I Control Them?
They gather on new sprouts and under palm fronds. Most garden insect repellent works a bit. But will not eradicate them.

It takes some strong insecticides, and diligence. These little pests do big damage, and they are not easy to get rid of. If you are going to go the organic route, I would recommend azadirachtan. This is the active ingredient in Neem oil, but it doesn't come with the same strict application procedure. Full Neem oil has a tendency to burn plants if applied during any weather extreme or bright light. Azadirachtan does not burn plants as easily.
