Q.Full Sun Evergreen Plants

Anonymous added on April 17, 2014 | Answered

I have a west facing, 10 foot wall. Very sunny and hot in summer. There is no shade there at all. What could I plant there that could handle the sun? And remain evergreen all year. Thank you.

The Italian Cypress is cold hardy in zones 7–11. This hardy evergreen requires full sun and well-drained soils. It tolerates many types of soils including, sand, clay, loam and acidic soils. The Italian Cypress is also drought tolerant. You might also like trumpet vine, daylilies, sedums, coneflowers, daisies and lamb's ear for some color.
