Q.Hydrangeas in Containers

Zone ? | CBorths added on September 26, 2012 | Answered

I have 3 small plants I just got this year and have them in containers for a few years until they get bigger and I figure out where I want to put them in the landscape. How do I store them for winter?

If they are already accustomed to an indoor environment, then you could bring them plant inside for overwintering. Otherwise, you will have to provide adequate cold protection, such as wrapping the containers.
