Holly Bushes

Q.I have holly bush in my yard. Red/yellow this year my red holly did not bloom . Why?

Each year they bloom with red and yellow fruit,this year only my yellow holly had fruit. The red plant looks OK but did not bloom. What should i look for.

This is not usually a cause for concern. This can happen when the weather acts out a bit for the year. If it is cooler or warmer than normal, or excessively wet or dry, then this can happen. It won't happen every year, and it can't be expected to fruit every year either. Like most shrubs or trees, they will have off years as well.
