Anonymous added on April 27, 2014 | Answered

I have made a flower bed in an area that does not drain well when it rains. Can I dig a runoff trench for drainage?

Yes, I would definitely recommend that you do something to encourage drainage to prevent waterlogging your plants. A berm is another idea for diverting water. Depending on its locale, you could also choose to implement a rain garden.
