oticeable blemish – see pics attached. Normal? See attached pics of fruit – is the “white” blemish on the fruit skin normal? Cause?

It looks like wind scarring or phytotoxicity, but consult your nearest university extension service agent, who likely has seen this before. (If it is fluffy, it could be mealybugs. in that case, spray with Neem oil.) Since the rind is the best part to eat, cut off this discoloration. These articles should help:
