Q.I Have A Sego Palm, It’s In A Clay Pot, Want To Transplant It…what Pot Can I Use

Moving a sago palm from house to house, want to transplant it before move….can I put it in a larger plastic pot, so it’s lighter to move..

If you want to transplant it into a plastic pot to make it lighter, I would advise making sure that the new pot is the exact size of the old one.

You wouldn't want to disturb the roots during this process, at all, so make sure to be very careful when moving the plant from one pot to the other. It will not recover from broken roots, should one of the larger roots break.
