Q.I have a mountain Laurel that for years has not looked as it should
I tried adding coffee grounds last year and got several small flowers and the tree had green leaves. Then this past winter we covered it and had tons of ice and little snow cover. Now it looks dead and with some sad green leaves a the bottom. I have tried to nurse it to health and it just won’t go. Any suggestions?
Thanks

You might check the acidity level. Used coffee grounds won't help to lower the pH. It can help with soil structure. Mountain laurels need regular watering, too.
